It was wonderful to wake up clean and late in a clean bed. Aaaah.

I packed up, ate, and settled the bill before driving back into Yosemite yet again. I marvelled at how low all the waterfalls were before dropping off my rented bear canister at the rather crowded Wilderness Office. Now my whole JMT experience is behind me and my trip is truely finished. One last eastbound drive through the park on my way to Nevada's highpoint, 13,140 foot Boundary Peak.

That is where I am now. In the back of my Blazer at another trailhead. In the morning I conquer the mountain and drive home. It is only 10 miles and 4,000+ ft away. I should fly up it without my 40-50 pound pack, but that is a story for another time.
