30 May 2005: Patton Museum, Ft. Knox, Kentucky

We weren't sure if this would be open for Memorial Day but it was and we had an enjoyable time walking among all the armored vehicles on display. Ft. Knox is home to the Army's Tank School and I was last here in 1995 staying on base with a girl I was seeing and her military family. Then I awoke to cannon fire. Today I didn't hear any of that but did get an eyeful instead. Last time my cheap 35mm camera broke and I lost all my pictures but this time my digital Nikon proved its value yet again.
