Speleofest 30 June 2005: Wood Cutters Cave

This was within walking distance and a couple fellow cavers recommended that we give it a visit. It is off the property but only a 15 minute hike away. This cave is a major drain for the area and although quite narrow it has 20 - 30 feet high ceilings and an active stream flowing along its bed. The two of us gave this a brief visit in the morning before leaving. We spent 45 minutessqueezing along its upper level. We didn't have more time than that with a 7 hour drive back to Cleveland and a planned visit to another area attraction: Fort Knox's Patton Armor Museum.
