The 5 uphill miles from the river to Molas Pass passed quickly. Lots of switchbacks followed by a couple miles of semi open country. It was an easy hitch into Silverton. A couple from Lakewood CO on a road trip picked me up and dropped me right off at the post office so I could pick up my bounce box. Then I found the hostel and got a room for a couple nights. Time for some R&R and a resupply.
