Just a short .9 mile walk down to the highway. It wasn't long before getting a hitch into Poncha Springs. Then it was a bit longer before before getting a ride the rest of the way into Salida. It was from none other than the CME guides again who were going into town to find a welder of all things. Thanks again.

I spent the day doing resupply tasks and my journals. There is a microbrew fest here tomorrow so I'm staying Saturday night too. :)
