This was a nice short hike although hot. I leapfrogged the group of three during the day and spent some time talking with them at rest breaks. I'll probably be seeing them for at least a few more days.

As I hiked out I noticed below me what I took to be the HQ for the lost hiker search. Two hikers going up Mt. Missouri went missing a week ago. That's a long time to be lost in that area. I hope they turn up okay. I also want to know what the story there is. It's hard to even speculate.
