These are some very old guestbook entries from back when my site was a bit more obscure and signing my guestbook actually worked. I'll have a working guestbook up again sometime soon.

I personnally enjoyed a lot your page about this crazy frenchman, that's a fact. but hey!, hey!, you must remember that: once we'll be snorkeling with straws in columbia, I will take you down. for all the memories of a crazy boss, I'll just ask one thing: would you do some arm wrestling with me?

In my e-mail you may see the concerns are the right sleeping bag, my thoughts on the BD metamid and getting your thoughts on gear. Brian & I had a great night with you at Jenny Knob Shelter in VA. I loved your stories about your walk in the park in the Great Smokies. Thanks for the great desert after a nice meal. A weekend section hiker like me was very suprised to be treated by a great thru-hiker. IF I WERE YOU I WOULD GO TO MAXIMMAG.COM NOW THAT IS A WEBSITE TO BE PROUD OF!! NONE OF THIS HIKING CRAP. I CONVERSED WITH THE AUTHOR OF THE JOURNAL ENTRIES THE OTHER DAY AND HE FOUND A LITTLE TRAIL ROMANCE, YEP THATS RIGHT HER NAME IS BUBBA AND HE HAS A "PURDY" MOUTH. WELL THATS WHAT HE SAID AT LEAST, BUT I THINK THE COMMON LAYMAN WOULD DISAGREE. IM OUT...

Me and four of my friends met Glen 01/14/2000. It had been a few months since we had hiked. So we had a few things in common with Glen. We did'nt expect the AT to be as hard , or as hard as we remembered. We spent three nights with Glen on the AT and had a great time. Some things we can't talk about. At last sight at Plumorchard Gap were we parted with Glen, he was doing fine, and lookind forward to mile mark 106, that was his next SHOWER, BOY DID HE NEED IT.

Good luck on your backpacking trip. Lisa said you plan to start in January and I wondered about the weather. I flew helicopters over northern GA for Army Ranger training and remember some fair size snow storms. Have you done a lot of research of wx in that area? I am very interested in a detailed description of your gear. Looking forward to your narrative of the trail.

To help repair my already damaged reputation: I haven't been skydiving with Glen since just before getting married.
