Day 61. I had expected to be finishing up this trip around now. 100 mile weeks would have been 63 days and that is what I usually seem to do. Of course I did take a week off to visit my brother which I never anticipated. I suppose I should consider this day 54 in reality.

It is still morning and I'm writing this now because I'm preparing to mail off these journals (29 March until now) in an hour or so. Back home Brian is out of pictures so he needs this memory card too. He'll still be working on uploading this bundle after I finish the MST. I'm not certain whether I'll be heading north on the AT for a few days afterward or not.

The four of us are heading to Asheville Pizza and Brewing for the lunch pizza buffet. That should be quite a sight - 1 thruhiker and 2 long distance cyclers pigging out at the trough.
