I guess I remember how to hike after all. 07:20 I was hiking down NC-12. Without sand or searching for the correct route, i could just get to my cruising speed and set autopilot. The miles went quickly. I've even stopped early because I found a nice spot outside of Davis. It is some sort of public land. At least it is as far as I can tell. And it isn't even posted no camping.

As you can see from my pictures I am hiking along the coast. It is all by the side of the highwaybut there isn't much traffic. I finally said farewell to route 12 and know am getting to know 70. I've got another day of this then enter Croatan National Forest. I'll use the Neusiok Trail there.
