A second zero day in a row? Almost unheard of! The last time I had two zero days in a row was the Hike Inn near Fontana Dam on the AT five years ago.

It is still raining of course. Only now have I watched the Weather Channel and realize the full extent of the rains and flooding here in New England. People around here are saying they haven't seen weather like this in 30 years. Just our luck.

Karen, a.k.a. Half-Mile, is headed home early Monday morning. I'll hit the trail then. Chances are that I will have rain until the end. Blah. I will say that having shelters makes all the difference.
