Though I felt really close to town it was actually a fairly long but easy walk into town. I hiked the rest of the road then got on the Galloping Goose trail which connected sort of to a bike path into town. Nice walk.

Now I'm couchsurfing Telluride. My host is a local named Dennis who lives right downtown. He invited me on a margarita crawl with some of his friends. My town chores had to wait!
