Just a quick entry today, I finished the historic mining part of the trail and visited Kentucky Camp, a mining base from 1904. I filled up with 9 liters of water and headed north after meeting a nice old ex-hiker, ex-surgeon and his son. I passed another thruhiker this morning while he slept. The two from yesterday are ahead of me. I probably won't see them again. A man at Kentucky Camp said he's seen about 10 come through in the last week. It's a veritable mob. |
