There isn't much to write about tonight. I used every bit of the generous noon check out time then spen some time at the PO repacking and talking the trail and damaged packages. Basically I don't think anything is going to ever materialize for me regarding the damaged computer but I'll have to wait and see.

The next section of trail is really 12+ miles of road. I hiked up as far as the last good campsites (level ground) and water were to be found. While the road walk back into National forest land wasn't exciting, I was relieved not to be grinding out the miles navigating those tedious dry washes and rocky hills.

I'm at my best campsite yet because it has a perfect rock to sit. If you aren't a backpacker you don't realize how much of a difference it makes. - Wow, I just took some great (at least they look great in the viewfinder) pictures of the halo around the moon tonight. Enjoy. Now it's time for me to turn in.
