First of all, beautiful night sky. It's been crystal clear each night so far and I haven't been using a tent. It's a majestic display to lay down under.

This morning I hiked the rest of the way out of Sunnyside Canyon, across some roads, through Scotia Canyon to a stream from Parker Canyon Lake. I completely lost track of time in this idyllic spot. I don't know wherev that 2:45 went. I'm concerened that there might have been an alien abduction.

After my abduction I didn't have a whole lot of time and stopped about a mile short of crossing to the other side of the Canelo Hills. I had planned to camp out on the ridge but this site is probably better, and less windy.
